Drive By Up-Date
I'm so busy! Its always like this a couple weeks before Christmas but this year its unbelievable.
I have my usual pre-Christmas craziness plus a few extras. Having the Chalet this year meaning a whole lot more planning. First its the preparation to just open it up. We have to go down a couple of days before, turn on the water, the heat, haul some wood for the week we're there, bring up the presents etc. I also wanted to put up a small Charlie Brown tree. We're leaving on the 21st and have 2 days to ourselves. I have some friends coming up the 23rd overnight and then the whole family arrives from the 24th-26th. I've had to plan a menu, activities, check when the ski hill is open, plan what we'll pack, make sure everyones snowboard is tightened and tweaked. It never ends.
Inbetween that, I have a four day hockey tournament, need to finish my shopping, and the restaurant opened this week - Deep breath-
Wait, lets not forget alternate family gift exchanges, office parties, Christmas concerts at school, more hockey, training a very smart and very rebellious puppy , chocolate making day at the office, organizing the office potluck, getting my hands on Sen's tickets , finding S a new snowboard and the list goes on forever.
Lucky for me, I thrive on chaos
